The Call Out

OK all you old folks who can skate or think you can skate or used to skate or want to start skating again... Wednesday night session is in effect. Tonight's spot is Cameron Hill. Wednesday, August 16 @ 8pm, meet at the highest spot in the First Baptist parking lot.

Ability (or lack thereof) is not important. We skate for fun, and nothing else. It does not matter what kind of board you ride, or even if you don't have a board... we will have loaners available (flippysticks to longboards). The street session is up top, and the hill is perfect for cruising and bombing.

Come on out and act a fool before the clock strikes 50. Manly? Yes. But ladies like it, too. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race or marital status.

No photos. Dwight made it out and skated with me & Gene. We hit the hill and messed around in the parking lot, then went to the ditch over on Signal Mt. Rd.

Fun for all, but it was a bad off night for me. Legs of lead. Dwight pulled off a couple of nicely tweaked ollie fakies in the ditch bank and Gene got a shovit 180 to stall on the bank wall.

We'll try to make it more regular, I'll post up here to let you know.

Sunday night we have another spot in mind.

I had a good time Wednesday night. I went back to Cameron Hill last night and checked it out before it got dark. Those banks are tight. Looking forward to the next sesh.
